What makes the Football Ex Machina experience unique?
As well as multiple screens (including a massive festival LED screen), football fans will also be wowed by a fully immersive light show, adding to the electric atmosphere for England’s biggest Euro matches.
The entire venue will light up yellow or red as corresponding-coloured cards are given out, to fans’ delight or dismay. Music, cheering and football chants will all add to the experience. There will also be pre and post-match entertainment with DJ’s, hosts, quizzes, special guests, competitions and much more.
How big is Football Ex Machina?
With over 30,000 square foot of Euro 2024 action, Football Ex Machina features a sprawling Beer Hall with space for up to 2000 standing fans. There are hospitality packages available in the Fanzone and 4 private, VIP Rum Town Caravans to hire for up to 40 guests.

Is there an age restriction at Football Ex Machina?
All customers must be over the age of 18yrs old and will need to show valid ID upon entry and also at the bars. Football Ex Machina operates a Challenge 25 policy and refusal system. If you look under the age of 25 then the bar staff will ask you to prove that you are over 18yrs old.
Will there be food at the venue?
Seated tickets will food included that will be brought to your table. Standing tickets will have access to a pizza by the slice concession with options for everyone.
What time does the event start?
Hospitality ticket holders can enter the Fanzone for their food two hours before kick-off. Standing ticket holders can enter the beer hall 2 hours before kick-off. We recommend early arrival.
What time does the event finish?
We will be keeping the bars open for longer after the game with post-match entertainment so that you can keep celebrating.
What form of ID is accepted?
Forms of ID accepted at Football Ex Machina are Passport, Drivers Licence &. Citizen Card (must have PASS hologram).
Will I be searched on the way in?
Everyone is searched on the way in as a condition of entry. This is for us to ensure that no one is carrying anything dangerous into the venue.
Entry Policy
This event is 18+ only, Valid Passports & Drivers Licence will be accepted on entry. Challenge 25 is in operation in the venue.
– Football Ex Machina promotes sensible drinking.
– A ticket does not guarantee entry if you do not ahere to the entrance policy.
– No re-entry
– No large bags/rucksacks allowed into the venue, max size is a size A4 envelope.
– No liquids, glasses or aerosols, including perfumes, make up or sprays (10ml max for vaping liquid).
– No external food or drinks of any sort.
• No face coverings/masks/balaclavas.
• No weapons, flares or pyrotechnic devices.
• No umbrellas.
• No high-visibility vests.
• Please leave quietly following the stewards directions.
If you arrive with any of the above items you will usually be able to dispose of it/them at the entrance.
No items left at the gate will be able to be collected once the customer has left the entrance.
Items surrendered at the entrance can be disposed of immediately.

Free drinking water is available upon request, please ask a member of staff.

Hospitality –
Full hospitality package including food before the game.
Standing –
A guaranteed view of the match with big screens, interactive technology, pre and post-match entertainment.

We have an exclusive hospitality package for the group games for £20 per person with arrival 2 hours before kick off, that will include a table in the Fanzone with table service. Plus choice of 1 pizza and sharing tots from the below menu –

What is the nearest train/metrolink station to Football Ex Machina?
The closest station is Manchester Piccadilly train station and Metrolink, which are both within a 3-4 mins walk of the venue. You can also get the tram to Market Street or Piccadilly Gardens and walk for around 10 minutes or less.
